Every daily game has its own board in the league each day. Players are ranked by score; an equal score goes to the faster time, measured by our server from the moment the first question appears to the moment the finished game arrives. City Limits adds up the times of its three cities.

Medals are decided by the standings at midnight Eastern Time (New York), when the day’s games close: gold, silver, bronze, copper, tin, plastic, cardboard, and a damp napkin for eighth and everyone below. A game needs at least two finishers in the league to award medals. Until midnight, medals shown on today’s boards are provisional and can still change.

The medal table can show counts or % of games: how often each player took each medal out of the games they were ranked in. That way someone who plays now and then can compare with someone who plays every day.

Only your first daily game counts. Scores come from games played in your browser: checked for valid ranges, but not cheat-proof.
